 Film Reel


 

 My film reel is 2 minutes long, which keeps it pretty concise. It represents me as a creator and how I want to portray myself. I brand my films as care-free and showing the beauty in the little things. I used my best and favorite shots to compile this reel. I have clips from every project I've worked on, which makes it very diverse. I brand myself with my cinematography, which I am hoping to improve. I choose to brand myself with cinematography because it is what I am most passionate about. I think the look of a film is very important and can enhance a film very much. 

Some things I will do differently next time include cutting out even more shots that I don't think fully show my skill as a cinematographer. I also am wanting to enhance it with more shots and a wider range of shots and genres. I also want to work on finding a song thats not as repetitive and boring, which is difficult when searching for royalty free music.

Overall I am happy with the reel I have, but I am excited to expand and improve it. I know very soon it will be much better and will constantly be improving itself. I enjoy he editing practice that working on my reel gives me. I will draw those editing skills into my next music video project.

House Animation

Over the past few weeks in e-Comm, we had been making houses on Google Sketch-up. These are two of the seamless textures I used. The grey one for siding, and the brown one for roofing and shutters. I liked this project, although for some reason I had quite a bit of trouble learning how to use the application. I had a lot of struggles, but the end result turned out ok. I enjoyed building the house, but I think I would personally like it more if we were creating our own house. Personalizing it would be fun. I would've aded more details to the house, there's quite a few I missed, but it took me the whole time to get this because I'm new to this kind of thing. Although my house is not perfect, I'm proud of what I accomplished, and will keep working to figure it out better.

Panorama Project

The Meaning For eComm graphic design, I made a panorama. My theme is nature. I chose this theme because I love being outdoors and photography of nature. I took all of these pictures. Some were taken in my neighborhood, some in Iowa when I visited my grandparents, and some just around town. I love the outdoors because of all the life, and how everything is peaceful and beautiful. There are stories behind each of the pictures I used. For example, the picture of the bridge was taken at Ernie Miller Nature Park. While we were there taking pictures, my dads car got broken into in the parking lot. My sisters lanyard with her ID, money, and keys was luckily the only thing that was stolen. The picture of the sunflower was taken at the sunflower field when I went with my family. I was super hot that day. During the summer, I would frequently drive around with my dad, jamming to music and looking for good areas to take pictures. We would go to parks, fields, lakes, trails, anything. My
