My Personality Type
My Personality Type
My Myers-Briggs personality type is ESFJ. This means that I am extravert, sensing, feeling, and judging. Overall, this means I like to work with others, follow through, notice, and provide. Sally Field, an actress, shares this personality type with me.
How Well Does This Describe Me?
This is pretty accurate. But, although I tend to use feelings as factors of decision making, I also weigh thinking and thought process very much. I am enjoy being in the company of people I know. When it comes to people that I'm meeting for the first time, I am very introverted for a while. This also kind of explains why I prefer to work with others, and why I like to do what I can to meet deadlines.
How Does This Clarify My Role?
This clarifies how, and why I tend to take on a role where I help people, want everyone to get along, and work hard to get where I want to be.
When your personality matches with your type, that means that your type is probably very accurate. I think I have had disagreements with others because of work, and help. A lot of the people I know think that they only need to appreciate their friends. I do not agree with this, and when people don't include others because they aren't as close, I don't like it because it's leaving others out.
What Have I Learned?
Over this small project, I have learned a lot more about myself. This helped me see why some things about me are a certain way, and understand ore about myself. I learned that online tests don't always have to be 100% accurate. I got a little bit of a new perspective on myself and personality reading.
My LOBG Results
My LOBG test result was Golden Retriever. This means that I'm loyal, good at making friends, and don't like big changes. I am sensitive and caring, and want to be loved by everyone. I work best with steady work patterns and like to be appreciated. A downside is needing to be more assertive. But, I am calm and affirming. I think this result is very accurate. The description matches up really well with my personality. Although there are some parts that don't completely match up, it is for the majority very correct.
