Photoshop Challenge

eComm Photoshop Challenge This week in eComm, we were assigned a project to use the photoshop skills we learned with the tutorials. We were given a set of pictures to use, but we also had the option to do our own thing with it. I chose to use some cityscape pictures rather than the nature ones they provided. This is the final outcome. I am very happy with how it turned out. I started making a layer mask with a picture for the jacket, so the jacket would be a cityscape rather than just brown.  I didn't use full opacity, so that you could still see the creases and folds. This simply made it look more real, and blend into the original picture. At the end I also ended up turning it slightly blue so that it would match the tone of the rest of the picture. I also made another layer mask on the white shirt, and added a grey color, because the shirt was very yellow and didn't match the cool blue theme. Then, I did the hair. Using Video Tutorials for Photoshop Tools

Photoshop Tutorials Overview This week in my e-Comm graphic design class, we have been learning how to use the tools in photoshop for basic editing with video tutorials. We learned how to use 6 tools. There was a different picture/assignment each tool was focused on. This project really helped me learn the basics of editing on Adobe Photoshop. Here they are and how it went. Content Aware Fill Using the content aware fill tool was very easy in this tutorial. I think I did a good job of removing the logo in this picture and keeping it clean. I am overall happy with how this project came out. Patch Tool Using the patch tool in this tutorial was pretty easy. I think the final product looks pretty good, but theres a lot of room for improvement. It looks a little splotchy in areas, but when I tried to use the patch tool to bring some darkness into the parts that were too light, the stayed light. Clone Stamp and Healing B...
